Nurture Group Practitioner x 2

Location: Looe Primary Academy

Bridge Schools are delighted to announce that we will be opening a nurture group based at Looe Primary Academy from the beginning of the Spring term and are therefore looking to appoint two experienced and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants as Nurture Group Practitioners.

Our nurture class will welcome children from across the Trust, bringing together a small group of between 6 and 8 pupils to support the development of emotional well-being, self-esteem and the management of feelings and behaviour.

The successful candidates will support the Nurture Group Leader to maintain a safe, nurturing environment, ensuring that barriers to learning are reduced so children are able to achieve their full potential.

Minibus training or the willingness to undertake such training will be an advantage.

These posts are fixed term until the end of the academic year in the first instance.


Payscale: HLTA (Band 1) / £9.80 per hour

Closing Date: Midnight on Sunday 15th November 2020

Interviews to take place in the week following the closing date.

Anticipated Start Date: Monday 4th January 2021

Teaching Assistant

Location: Brunel Primary and Nursery Academy

Closing Date: 01/11/2020

We are looking to appoint a skilled and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our friendly and supportive team for 23 hours per week (Term Time only).

Your role will be to support teaching and learning across the academy.

Experience of supporting emotional wellbeing (eg. TIS/Thrive), a knowlegde of the cognitive development of children and experience of leading interventions would be an advantage.

This position will be fixed term until 23rd July 2021 in the first instance.
