We are pleased to be able to offer the opportunity for a Teaching Assistant to join our friendly and supportive school, to further strengthen the link between the pre-school and main school, in particular in the EYFS team.
The position is fixed term with variable hours, working hours will be between 18 and 26 hrs per week.
The role will involve working alongside other members of the team in our EYFS. The ideal candidate will have experience and understanding of supporting younger children and have experience of working with SEND children. The pre-school welcomes children between the ages of 2 and 4 years and prides itself on providing them with the best opportunities to develop. Children then join our reception class in the main school building. We are looking for someone with experience and enthusiasm to support this.
Anticipated start date: July/September 2022.
You should:
• Be able to take a pro-active role as a key member of a multi-disciplinary team in the support of children, staff, the early years curriculum and the school.
• Be able to support the professional work of all staff in providing care, supporting the development of the children and taking responsibility for agreed learning activities.
• Have experience of supporting children in EYFS.
• Experience of working with SEND children would be an advantage.
